It's better than that. If you already have a paid account, but pay for more time, you get the two months. If one of your friends has a paid account, and you buy them some more time (because you forgot to give them a birthday present), then they get the two months as well. I have tested both of these.

Tempting, but I only subscribed about a month ago and I suspect that more offers like this will come up sooner or later - being a pessimist, I doubt very much this'll be the last time things go horribly wrong.
