Time lapse
Sep. 9th, 2010 02:21 pmFor work I need to put together an info sheet on time-lapse photography, concentrating mostly on web cams. I'd like to include links to software (preferably free) for PC, Linux, and (if possible) Mac.

Date: 2010-09-09 02:05 pm (UTC)You can then import those easily into GIMP and make an animated GIF and there are free tools available that will turn GIFs into video files. I haven't played around much with time lapse (except the above icon).
Now that I think about it, I think the basic image viewer that comes with Windows Vista/7 allows you to make vids.

Date: 2010-09-10 12:04 am (UTC)Slightly baffling - it was OK for about 30 secs then kablooie. Just a coincidence it was a new bit of software, I hope. I'll leave it for a day or two, see if the microscope somehow recovers.
