Bat Time

Bruce's visit to LA is high profile. Eventually an acquaintance mentions Angel, the reclusive new CEO of Wolfram and Hart. Their web site has pictures.

Next morning's local news describes sick children, their faces locked in ghastly smiles. Could the Joker be here?

Oracle suggests a link to a children's show. Batman goes in that night, realises someone else is searching the studio.

He recognises Angel, sees enough to suspect he's metahuman, then a pulse of light hits them.

When he wakes Angel's gone, and he's become a puppet.

He finds a phone, dials, and says "Zatanna? I need help..."

*giggles* I'm really enjoying these. Can just picture very displeased puppet-bats :) Can't wait to see the next one of this series.
