Dr. Who - Let's Kill Hitler

Just watched Dr Who and Confidential.



An episode in which Melody AKA Mel AKA River kicks SERIOUS ass!

Loved it to bits in all its timey-wimey madness, left wondering two things:

1: What happened to the other time machine afterwards?

2: How long does it take for Hitler to come out of the closet?

The bit I can't reconcile is that when the Dr gets shot in the middle of regenerating he's forever dead, but Melody brushes off being shot by all the Germans because she's in the middle of regenerating.

It doesn't add up

Apart from that it was a blast!

There's always been the thing where e.g. the 10th Doctor gets his hand back a few hours after regenerating. If I had to explain it, I'd say that in the case of Melody she'd done the main regeneration before she was shot, but still had a lot of regeneration energy left to take care of "minor" injuries.

I'd wondered that as well but various people explained it in the same way as ffutures (which apparently "has been established before").
