Someone at work has just had a phone call saying Gadaffi is dead - there seem to be a lot of different versions on line, but it looks fairly certain it's true.

"The claims have not yet been independently verified, and other reports said he was captured alive."

Which is probably why there are several versions floating around.

Starting to look like captured alive but died of injuries. How much he was helped along we will never know.

According to the Beeb, he was injured when captured and taken to hospital, where he died of his wounds.

Yeah, they showed the first video about a half-hour or so after that post. They're saying he was shot in the chest and the head now.
