...was the complete run of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (from the creators of The West Wing) for £6.49 - it's a Region 1 set but fortunately my DVD players are region-hacked. I watched a couple of episodes years ago but didn't follow up and watch the rest; now I'm quite enjoying it.

Love love love TWW, but couldn't get on with Studio 60 at all.

It's not as good as TWW, but so far I'm finding it reasonably enjoyable.

My wife's a huge TWW fan and enjoyed S60 but I think liked Sportsnight more. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0165961/

I rather enjoyed Studio 60 when it was shown in the UK and did catch all the episodes. Seemed to meander as the show runners tried to up the ratings mid-season, and the happy ending seemed a bit rushed. There's an amusing episode where Allison Janney, who played CJ, guests.

But, as Martin Easterbrook said, will the show go out on time is not the same as will World War III break out.

We have the box set of Sportsnight, but couldn't get on with it because of the laughter track - we gave up.

True, it does lack some of the WW tension.

Definitely would not like it then, I'm afraid.
