Thought of this while getting coffee, wrote it in about ten minutes, which isn't bad going. But it's a bit silly...

The snake glided away; Voldemort followed it through muggle London to a hotel near the Leaky Cauldron, up the stairs, said "Alohomora!" to open the door.
The occupant wore muggle clothes, and seemed surprised at the intrusion. "Did you think this disguise would fool me, Black? Aveda Kadeva!.
Black fell to the floor, Voldemort turned to leave. Behind him two rings of greenish light played over the body.
The snake hissed, too late, as Black sat up and shot Voldemort in the back.
"THIS IS THE VOICE OF THE MYSTERONS. YOUR WIZARD HAS FAILED..."

Date: 2005-02-08 05:32 am (UTC)Oh.. Just had a look at the Radio Times. No SPVs, they're giving nice butch names to the (former) Angel interceptors, and lots of new gizmos expressly designed to sell toys. Ho hum...
Plus they don't say the exact time it'll be on, just that it'll be in the morning kid's slot, which is a pain since it means I can't set the DVD recorder, which doesn't edit. Suppose I could record it on DVD RW then play it from another recorder to get just the bit I want, but it's a bit of a pain.

Date: 2005-02-08 05:41 am (UTC)And yes, the kids tv slot is a worry, because htey might well show it either very early, at random times, or indeed split it up into segments and/or stick rolling marquees on top of it.
I heard once that ITV tried to get Buffy for their saturday morning kids tv slot, and they were going to cut it down to 25 minutes. And how different life would have been then, because the show would never have taken off.
Still, new sci-fi show. That doesn't happen terribly often.

Lieutenant Green and Captain Ochre are now women. And the female Angel pilots are noticeably more sexy.
Makes me wonder why they still call them angels, since that used to be the name of the planes. To me the whole thing reads that they don't give a toss for continuity and the old audience, they're in it to sell action figures and toys.
I'll post more when I've seen the first episode on Saturday.
