Police Code Again

I've updated the Police code - about 2/3rds of the index is working, A to midway through P. Hopefully finishing tomorrow.

I still haven't heard back from anyone who has noticed any errors, which seems a little unlikely, PLEASE let me know if you spot anything!

Index now fully operational, plus a shedload of corrections thanks mainly to bugshaw

I ran it through a spell check, and found a few questionable words (actually found others, but they seemed to be consistently 'misspelled' so I guess that's they way they were spelt back then.)


Under Attention: The same rule should be followed when the constable is addresed by a Judge or Magistrate, or an officer of the army or navy in uniform.

Cemeteries.-1. Any personly wantonly destroying or injuring any building, fence, gravestone...

Under Forgery: (d) Signing a decument in the name of any person without his authority.

Under Post Office: should they discover that any device, trap, or sticky subtance has been inserted,

Thanks - these are all probably OCR glitches - you sometimes get that duplication of word end thing etc. if the text is a bit faint - keep them coming!

Now sorted - I'll put it on line a little later, I want to play around with the "see" things first and see how long it would take me to turn them all into links.

The final one - subtance - turns out to be a typo in the book...
