Was going to phone about giving blood but remembered that I only came off antibiotics a couple of days ago, took a couple of paracetamol this morning, and have unfinished dental work, so they probably won't want me today. However, I suspect that there will be a BIG shortage a week or two down the line, by which time I should be okay.
later Now heard that my family are all OK. It turns out that my sister was in the area (she never normally is) near Euston, but is unhurt and now home safely. Brother in law, nieces, nephew, and cats are all OK.
later still Just heard that my oldest niece was actually on her way to King's Cross station when the bomb went off there, and if she'd been about ten minutes earlier would have been on that train. Bloody hell.
