Snow day

Well, the weather forecast for the weekend was snow, and so I shouldn't be surprised it's chucking it down pretty heavily. Not settling much yet, but I suspect it will be. Annoying that it's the weekend - with my luck it'll be horrible today and tomorrow then clear on Monday for work. But that's snow business...

There's been ample warning, and the highway agency etc. say they're ready for this, so it'll be interesting to see how badly the roads and public transport are screwed up, especially since I'll be travelling next weekend.

Yes, I'm nevously keeping my eyes on the trains to Bradford for Eastercon. The airport is closed, but fortunately I didn't have a bucket full of gold doubloons to pay for the air fare, so I'm not flying there... A teacup of gold doubloons for the train fare instead!
