Some pictures I've taken along the canal and in Kensington Gardens over the last few weeks. Nothing too mind-boggling, just birds, plants and the canal itself. I've reduced them in size to save downloading woes.

Blackberries? There are huge masses of these bushes along the canal near Willesden - I think they're under-ripe blackberries.

He was completely impassive, despite the birds fluttering around and obviously not being very keen on his presence, but I'm sure he was watching them out of the corner of his eye.

Coots are weird, I had no idea they were like that until a year or two ago, now I can't think how I never noticed. That's the clearest photo I've managed to get so far, it really is quite startling how different they are from ducks.
