Anyone else think that this is much uglier than IOS 6 on an ipad, especially the over-large icon bar at the bottom of screens?

I'm stuck on iOS 5 on my 1st Gen iPad, but from what I've seen, 7 does look a bit cartoony. Also needs some visual bugs ironed out.

Icons ugly, way of accessing folders on the desktop is ugly, some icons are less useful ( eg newsstand no longer shows anything related to its contents, etc. etc.

I'm not upgrading until I have to. I find textures and 3d effects make the iPad much easier to understand.
