The transition from Be to BT has gone pretty painlessly - I didn't even have to reconfigure the network printer settings, which is something I was dreading; things seem to be generally faster, though it's still setting down. So I've downloaded the BT app for the iPad so I can go on line via any BT hotspot - is there something equivalent for my iBook, or do I have to do something from the browser?

The only problem so far is that I can't seem to get into the hub (homehub 4) to check its settings - when I try bthomehub.home, which is supposed to be its URL, I get a not found error. Anyone got any alternatives?

and as if by magic, just tried that again and it's working!

later Thursday morning, and speed is 21.5 download, 7.5 upload, which is pretty good considering I'm not doing many of the things that need that sort of performance. Hopefully it'll stay OK.

Cabling between floors is always a bit of a pain, unless you're really lucky with layout. I haven't even tried it here as yet; I sometimes check my email or read fanfic in bed, but wifi is fine for that.
