This is a first attempt at an editable PDF Forgotten Futures character record form. I'm probably going to tidy it and pretty it up a little more, but I'd be grateful if people could give it a try now and see if anything seems to be dodgy about it, if you can make it do weird things, etc.

The characteristics boxes are drop down menus, as are the weapon "Multiple?" fields (apart from Fist and Kick). Everything else is a text field.

You'll probably need to download it and open it in e.g. Adobe Reader - Firefox displays it but doesn't let you edit it, not sure about other browsers and readers.

later - forgot to make the spaces for the effect of fist and kick editable. I'll sort that, but for now please try this as it is.

Looks good. Quite a small box for equipment? My characters were always packrats and wound up with tons of equipment.

If you want to get really silly you can always continue overleaf - I might add a second page with a big text field and "continued" and nothing else. It's a real shame that the basic form tools in Adobe Standard don't let people paste in graphics, it would be cool to have an option to include a picture, but I'm not going to pay a couple of hundred quid for Acrobat Pro just to add that option!

No, Acrobat have become, well they've always been a scam. Charging ridiculous sums of money to use a proprietary format that is just a pain in the ass to do anything with.

The actual PDF format is very useful, especially if you want to print something across a wide variety of platforms, it's just a shame that Acrobat is by far the best tool for generating them and so bloody expensive. There are dozens of cheap and free alternatives, just none that are quite as good.

Forgot to add that I will probably remove the drop-down boxes and replace them with text fields, they look horrible.
