There's a campaign to email MPs about the current refugee situation and ask them to put pressure on the government to be a bit more humanitarian. I've done so, I hope that others will want to participate

It seems as if there's some risk of a "beggars in Spain" situation.

Things can't get better without some risk of problems - at the moment we have a government that thinks if they don't take any risks the problem will go away. And it really won't.
