...so I may as well start the ball rolling.

I enjoyed it. A lot of unanswered questions, such as why aren't the planes being left behind in the Earth's orbit as time goes on around them, but it sort of worked as an idea. It's pretty obvious that the Doctor is not going to let Davros die in the past, that won't actually help much (unless he wants to see the whole universe eaten by paradox monsters), so I'm guessing that he's going to save the boy, try to improve his life etc., but fail miserably.

As for Missy, she's obviously used the vortex manipulator to rescue herself, Clara, and the TARDIS, but the details should be interesting. Looking forward to seeing how it comes out, and what (if anything happens to the tank, the sudden introduction of the word "Dude!" etc.

There will probably be more spoilers in comments if any.

It was a slam bang opener, to be sure. I thought that the devastated world with the strangely mixed level of technology and the hand-bombs popping out of the earth was enough to be going on with. And then he went and dropped the boy's name. All that before the opening titles.

There were small bum notes, especially the three week party bit, but on the whole it was spectacular. I think exterior views of the 'space station' and then the city were intended to be similar to the city in the first Dalek story but I could be wrong.

There are lots of unanswered questions, indeed. I can't help feeling that answers will mostly end up being unspoken or being stupid when they are given but that's just me being a pessimist.

One that bothers me was: what was Missy looking at her hand so significantly for when they escaped from the cell?

And I believe we will come to see that the 'friend' he speaks of is neither Missy nor Clara....

My guess, the vortex manipulator or some instrument. I'm sure we'll find out sooner or later.

Was that maybe the shot when there were grains of sand in her hand?

Grains of sand? Ah, that would explain it! And teach me not to download in High Definition....
