...having actually defleshed and cleaned up a pig's skull for scientific purposes - took nearly two weeks of soaking in caustic soda and was utterly vile - the thought of putting any sensitive part of my body near something like that is somewhat daunting. Rather Cameron than me!

I recall a young guest at a revel of my medieval society who did himself a nasty injury trying to carve a boar's head. He was drunk and American, it must be said.
