Freecycle goodies

ffuturesSomeone on Freecycle just gave me a 15" 1ghz Titanium Powerbook G4 (1gb RAM, I think 60GB HD and some sort of wifi already installed, think it's 802.11g). Needs a new battery and I'm not quite sure what I'll use it for, possibly the bedroom computer I keep muttering about, but it's working and I'm just installing OSX Leapord, so well pleased.
later - make that 100gb hard disk but wireless is an airport card, not extreme, so 11b and no bluetooth. Fortunately I ran a cable up to my bedroom the last time I thought about this.
later still - spoke too soon, leapord install is locking up, and now the disc won't eject - I suspect overheating. I'm switching off for a couple of hours then will try to eject it and install 10.4 tiger instead.
