Life Story (Jeff Goldblum etc.)
Nov. 2nd, 2005 12:29 pmBack in 1987 the BBC's "Horizon" science program made a two-hour special about the discovery of the double helix called Life Story, with VERY good cast including Jeff Goldblum. It was one of the best science docu-dramas ever made, but for some reason has never been released on video or DVD in the UK; there's an American VHS release, which looks to have been cut a little, but it has never been on sale in Britain.
We've been using our tape of it for science lessons for years, but it's now getting a bit worn, just as I have the technology to transfer it to DVD. So... anyone got a good copy and feel able to transfer it across? Or able to point me at a feed for it?
