ffutures: (marcus 2013)
Yesterday's Portobello Road bargain was a tub of capers. A 1kg tub of capers. For £1.50

Yes, I know it's a catering size. Yes, I know it's ridiculous for one person. The thing cost less than a 100g jar from Waitrose, and I like capers. I like them on their own, since they are low fat etc. and taste nice, and I like them on pizza and in salad. Up to a point where I will probably eat so many I go "oh god no, not capers again, let's have a pickled onion or something."

So... what else can you do with them?

I've found a recipe for Spaghetti alla puttanesca and will probably try the anchovy-free version a little later this evening.

Any other suggestions?
