Yes, death to cute snuggly literary animals who do not (unlike real pets) leave disconcerting presents or inadequately digested food and drink in your bed. The only good tiny lizard is one that eats Peter Stormare in Jurassic Park. I find Hagrid kind of sexy. I realise what this says about my taste in men, but still.
