Another response to the OGL thing

james_davis_nicoll points out another change that may be a response to the OGL thing - Chaosium have just dropped the price of the 400-page PDF version of Basic Role Playing - the percentage-based system behind all of their early games including Runequest, Superworld, Call of Cthulhu etc. - to 99 cents for the next ten days.

There's actually two different versions with different file sizes, not quite sure why yet.

And ANOTHER Bundle - Dungeons on Demand

Yesterday's bundle seems to have been fairly impromptu, because of the OGL thing. Today's was probably planned a little more in advance, and features (you guessed it) material written for the current version of D&D and the OGL. It's a repeat offer from 2020.

Last time I said "Unfortunately, this doesn't interest me at all, I stopped playing D&D many years ago, but if you're still into kicking down doors and murdering innocent monsters this may be for you." This is still true, but don't let me stop you from playing murderhobo if that's the sort of thing you enjoy.
