OK, I appear to have a flight for the Worldcon - hopefully it won't turn out that I booked it on a day where the prices were particularly high, the total is a bit under £250 with relatively short times in the air and including luggage, travel insurance, and options to cancel or change the flight if necessary, so I don't feel it's too bad.

Only just now got round to booking an hotel.

Still planning on going by train and boat, probably by Stockholm. I don't usually get round to booking a flight for Worldcon until the summer, and probably going to be the same for my train this year.

Ironically, to get to St. Pancras for the Eurostar I'll have to go into Waterloo and I saw on the news this morning that there's going to be major disruption at Waterloo this August, as they are rebuilding the old Eurostar platforms there.

You're probably wise, but I start to fret if I leave travel to the last minute.
