Shepherds Bush flooding - a water main burst early yesterday morning, I happened to be in the area later in the day.

There's an odd little concrete island under the Westway between Royal Oak and Paddington stations that overlooks the railway. It's a bit isolated because it's next to the main road, the route to it from Royal Oak looks VERY non-inviting, and it isn't particularly convenient for getting anywhere. It doesn't even seem to be used by vagrants, presumably because there isn't much shelter there. Anyway, I get along there once in a while, here are some pictures:

Plus they can't plant trees much closer to the railway due to the risk of something blowing onto the track.
