Quick question - Bedazzled

 Once I have Harry Potter and the Half-God Prince finished I'm thinking of writing something based on the film Bedazzled - but the 1967 version with Peter Cook as Lucifer with Dudley Moore as the guy who sells his soul, not the 2000 remake with a female version of Lucifer played by Elizabeth Hurley. Do people outside the UK know the film, or remember anything about it if they've seen it?

I've seen the Peter Cook original, many years ago. Before the remake it used to show up on late night tv from time to time.
