We provide each title complete in .PDF. Several titles are also presented in ePub format. Like all Bundle of Holding titles, these ebooks have NO DRM (Digital Restrictions Management), and our customers are entitled to move them freely among all their devices.
Ten percent of each purchase (after gateway fees) goes to this Nobilis and Chuubo revival's pandemic-related charity, Direct Relief. Direct Relief sends protective gear and critical care medications to health workers, with emergency deliveries to medical facilities across the US and Canada and to regional response agencies around the world.
The total retail value of the titles in this revived offer is US$118. Customers who pay just US$9.95 get all five titles in this revival's Starter Collection (retail value $50) as DRM-free ebooks, including the complete 578-page Chuubo's Marvelous Wish-Granting Engine rulebook (retail price $20), its supplements Fortitude: By the Docks of Big Lake (retail $20) and the Techno Player's Guide (retail $5), its Quest Cards and Issue Cards (total retail $5), and the illuminating Finding Home, a 63-page example of Chuubo's play.
Those who pay more than the threshold (average) price, which is set at $17.95 to start, also get this revival's entire Bonus Collection with five more titles worth an additional $68:
- Nobilis Second Edition (2002, retail $20) -- the "Great White Book" originally from Hogshead Publishing Ltd. -- plus its free rules expansion Unlikely Flowerings.
- NEW in this revival! Nobilis - The Essentials (retail $13): Released this year, this is the updated version of the 2011 Nobilis Third Edition. (Customers who purchased this offer during its original September 2018 run receive the new addition automatically on their Wizard's Cabinet download page and in their linked DriveThruRPG Library.)
- Fortitude: The Glass-Maker's Dragon (retail $20): A massive 562-page Chuubo's campaign, set in the beautiful hometown of Fortitude, that will keep you busy reaching for your dreams for years.
- Fortitude: The Legendary 139 (retail $5): A campaign about the extraordinary passengers who sailed into port the day the sun died.
- Chuubo's Halloween Special (retail $10): A one-shot holiday adventure that introduces the "Fairy Tales" genre of Chuubo's.
Last time I said "This sounds interesting; my impression is that they're games aimed at more cerebral players, able to role-play really weird characters and think well outside the box, people whose idea of RPGs is number crunching and kicking open dungeon doors will probably hate them. The price is good, though as usual I have to point out that I don't have to pay it if I want this stuff, so your mileage may vary." Having read more I think my impression was right - these are interesting games with characters and settings well outside the norm, and well worth a look.
Nobilis is my favourite game I've never played
