Spaceship and Crew

I was trying to find some figures suitable for the 3D printed Wallace and Gromit rocket. While I would sort of like to get models of W&G in the appropriate scale I've found something that's possibly more useful for the adventure I want to run - some model deep sea divers I modified to be steampunk spacesuits in the 1980s or 90s. I think I made these for the playtests of Forgotten Futures II, which was a spacegoing setting, but it may have been for an earlier adventure published in the 1980s which I don't want to name because it's a spoiler for the adventure. They are a bit smaller than the Martian models I made, but I don't think that's a problem.

Yeah, those converted divers make awesome steampunk astronauts. Cool. What are the Martians made of?

Large maize kernels and wire from a computer network cable plus a cut-up store discount card for the bases, ground dried herbs for the vegetation. and some paint, glue, and varnish.

I've never have guessed they were maize kernels! That's very innovative.

I couldn't find a model that worked for me, but the maize kernels just seemed to have the right shape - plus they're light weight so easy to support on those thing wires.
