Forgotten Futures Web Site
Jan. 10th, 2023 12:14 amI've tracked down the last few problems and it looks like my site is now using secure connections throughout. If you are still seeing it as insecure it may be a good idea to clear the browser cache, if that still doesn't help please let me know.
One of the problems was that my game blog ffutures-news (on insanejournal) is in a window on the front page, and halfway down the first 20 entries in that was an insecure link to an image. Every time the page was reloaded that link flagged the site as a whole as insecure!
But there were also some links on REALLY old pages that had to be fixed, and it looks like it's now OK.

Date: 2023-01-10 08:42 pm (UTC)I just responded to your query on Tor.com regarding Helen Rose Weinbaum Kasson. But it's awaiting moderation, because I stuffed it with URLs. I'll leave a copy here in hopes it will get to you more quickly.

======================
14: Marcus, a couple of genealogy sites, such as this one, say Helen Rose Kasson, formerly Weinbaum, Stanley's sister, was born in 1906 and died in 1982. The FictionMags Index accepts this death date.
Her entry on Find A Grave suggests she died on 18 August 1982, having been born on 14 June 1906.
There's a photo of her on page 81 of the December, 1938 issue of Thrilling Wonder Stories. But that seems to me to be the sort of fact you'd already know.
If I have any sense, I will put this response in an e-mail message and send it to you.
