Still testing positive, but it still isn't a week since I first felt ill so I'm not incredibly surprised. Really hoping it clears over the weekend though! Actual symptoms haven't changed, I'm a bit sniffly and wheezy but that's about it. No temperature, no desire to eat brains, spontaneous levitation, bits falling off, etc. A bit anticlimactic but I'm not complaining...

Best wishes on a full recovery and getting thru it safely. I am very paranoid about it, with both my wife and I having lost relatives and friends to it, and having several folks we know end up with long covid symptoms (I have one friend in NY who has been unable to work now for 2 months, she ended up with lung damage from it and can barely manage a flight of stairs).

Definite a solid way of dealing with things on your part. I and my wife continue mask discipline, despite falling covid numbers in our state in general, as we know that not enough reporting of self tests is being done and that pretty much the state is only publishing about large spikes in hospitalizations randomly (we had 30 people hospitalized 3 weeks ago that was only covered in our small online local newspaper and nowhere else because the state didn't want to screw with attendance of the Boston Marathon this weekend and all the tourist money in brings in).

I tested positive again yesterday. I was supposed to have an aorta scan on Monday, so I phoned the hospital and they moved the appointment to May.

Main problem the last couple of days has been stinging eyes. A lot better this morning.

My eyes were watering so badly on Thursday I had trouble reading or watching television.

I first felt ill on Monday evening and by Tuesday morning was running a fever of 1.5C above my normal temperature plus sundry other unpleasantness remarkably like flu, but had improved noticeably on Wednesday, and since Thursday it's been more like a normal cold although with some breathlessness and pain on coughing, both of which are clearing. Given how solid the line on the LFT was yesterday I expect to still be positive for the next few days, but government guidance is currently try to self-isolate for 5 days because you'll be much less contagious after that even if still testing positive.

My test yesterday afternoon was not faint as such, but was a lot less strong than it had been previously, so it appears my viral load had gone down quite a bit overnight. The timer on the Covid app ran down at midnight last night, so it appears the 5 days have expired according to the rules on 5 days from positive test.

But yes, I also intend to mask up.
