ffuturesFun episode, but a bit predictable. Is it just my imagination, or was that based on something from 2000 AD? The name of the Meep rings a huge bell. Think it might have been a Tharg's Future Shocks strip, not sure.
LATER - Watching Dr. Who Unleashed, turns out it was an eight-part serial in Dr Who Weekly in 1980, by Pat Mills and Dave Gibbons, which is the 2000 AD connection - I've seen the page they showed on screen, though I don't think I remember reading the whole story.
