Another Hero System bundle
Feb. 7th, 2024 06:19 pmAnother Hero System offer, this time of magazines devoted to the system, a repeat from 2020.
Please note - to reduce time spent messing around with cutting and pasting and layout I've decided to link to these offers in future rather than copying the same information to Dreamwidth.

In 2020 I said: Adventurers Club was a useful resource in its day, although quality was occasionally erratic. I'm less familiar with the later material and apazines etc.. Together they contain the work of dozens to hundreds of authors (I'm not even going to try to count) covering any hero-related topic you can possibly think of. Most will need changes to fit in with the current implementation of the rules, but they ought to be worthwhile for anyone still using this system.
While the price has risen by about 25% since 2020 it's still pretty cheap, and I don't see any need to change that. But as with the other material offered on Monday, some of it is a bit old and clunky by modern standards - one of my comment responses in 2020 said "A lot of it is more of historical interest than useful, I think, stuff that later went into the rules or supplements - you can only read so many articles about optimaxing stats etc. before your brain goes wibble..."
