Since I've got nowhere with Amazon's so-called help desk and the US vendor I've decided to cut my losses and sell off the duplicate purchase I mentioned a while ago. What I'm actually selling is Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, the two-DVD US release (and why has there never been a UK release?), which appears to be pretty rare in this country.

If you're interested it's on eBay here. The auction ends on Wednesday since I'll be at Novacon next weekend.

I'm also selling off Insectia, an interesting but a little dated 4-DVD natural history series. Listed here

Bid early and often, folks...

UPDATE Maybe I'd better point out that Neverwhere has already been bid up past Amazon's price for it, even with transatlantic postage.

OK, have done!

Is the Insectia one understandable for reasonably bright 10-12 year olds? It loooks like the sort of thing my kids would like, but I wanted to check it's not too advanced. They love the "Life of..." series by David Attenborough.

It's basically as much about human attitudes to insects as it is about their biology - my main problem with it, and my reason for selling, is that there isn't enough science, a lot of it is the presenter chatting to tribesmen, buying bugs in markets, etc.

OK, I think I'll pass on that one then. Thanks.
