Call me Bulgaria...
Feb. 7th, 2007 11:16 am...because some time last night I acquired a grand-nephew courtesy of my middle niece. No name yet, mother and baby (7½lb - why do they still measure babies in pounds?) doing well. So I am now a great-uncle, and my sister (who is a couple of years older than me) is possibly slightly less keen on being a granny. Probably won't see them for a few days, but a great relief.

Date: 2007-02-07 05:02 pm (UTC)That's not as difficult as it might seem - my mum was an aunt when she was born and a great-aunt when she was eleven or so - she was the last child of a very large family and the first children were already married. It's only in the last 50 years or so that this sort of thing has become uncommon.

Congratulations though Bulgaria.
