Permanent account sale.

For anyone who missed it, news has just announced that permanent accounts will be on sale from the 21st June for one week, cost $150. If you buy in the first 36 hours they give $25 to charity.

Later - To clarify, because some people seem to be surprised that I mentioned this: I'm not particularly recommending this, I know that circumstances have changed and that this isn't as good a deal as last time - but the last time several people on my flist were annoyed that they'd missed the sale. I'm just trying to help to ensure that this time around they know.

I don't know that I really see the attraction. It's only $30/yr for a paid account so it's going to take 5 years before you even break even! Why bother?

Some people like to do things with a one-off payment then never have to worry about them again. I'm one of them, and I will break even next year.
