Sarah-Jane Adventures, Eureka
Jun. 21st, 2007 10:39 amAnyone know when The Sarah-Jane Adventures is scheduled to start? September-ish? All that the official site says is "autumn."
Oh, and I got an email saying that the S1 Eureka DVDs have been shipped. Anyone know when S2 starts? And why are there no Eureka / Who crossovers?

Date: 2007-06-21 11:35 am (UTC)And yeah, I never had the remotest inkling of a story idea for Torchwood either. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen any Torchwood fanfic full stop.
Now... if they could write Captain Jack into the Sarah-Jane Adventures...

Date: 2007-06-21 10:47 am (UTC)On a related note, am I the only one who finds it really hard to make the Torchwood characters as unpleasent and unsympathetic as they were on TV? I know the book writers couldn't do it, as the characters in the books are both more believable and human that the idiots we saw on telly, but I was wondering if fanfic writers hit the same wall?

Date: 2007-06-21 10:57 am (UTC)No doubt they could give us something a bit more precise than "autumn", but once they start getting more precise they are more likely to annoy people when they choose to use their wiggle room. It's frustrating, but easy to see why they do it.
