Think this quote sums it up perfectly (no major spoilers)

Clarification: I'm talking about the episode shown on BBC3, not the one that was on BBC2

We do what we must because we can
for the good of all of us except for the ones who are dead.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake,
you just keep on trying 'till you run out of cake,

Jonathan Coulton - Still Alive

I say minor because I'm not saying who died...

If it's Owen who has died again... ye gods, I think they must have gone 'He's dead! No he's not!' about 5 times in the last 3 episodes.

That's overdoing the character dying but not really plotline if you ask me.

I suspected as much. I'm curious now as to who dies, if not regular series dying-boy Owen.

He ends the episode dead. But he starts the episode dead!

Such a good episode. I still find it hard to believe how this how has turned itself around after the massive wodge of disappointment that was season 1. The only thing I didn't like about "A Day in the Death" was Freema Agyeman, and I'm rather fond of Martha. Wow, she's painful to watch when you put her on screen with people who can actually act.

I don't know...I'd go with "You are not thinking straight!" with a side order of "But we're going to do what you want anyway because otherwise we don't have a story."

Heh, isn't that kind of appropriate for Torchwood in general?

I love that song, though - it makes a superb end to 'Portal'. I need to track down more of Jonathan Coulton's stuff.

He's in London on the 20th, I'm greatly looking forward to it.

I'm starting to get confused now... isn't this supposed to be the same UK where everybody got out of London for the holiday season because of the alien visitations the last two years? If so, why is anybody disbelieving of the concept of alien life?
