As soon as I saw the covers side by side I knew that the new one wouldn't do, so here's a variation on the previous one - a more detailed ship, and a simplified logo which I think works better, and reduces the file size considerably.

Definitely better, though I find that the lettering is mixing in with the starry background, making it hard to read. If the shadow on the text was black, it would make it stand out that much better.
