The new network drive housing has arrived and it's working very well with my PCs. But the iBook doesn't seem to want to connect to it.

Basically, I'm seeing the drive in the view for the network, and when I click on it I get the usual "connect" message "to see the available shares for server "Hermione", click Connect."

But when I do that I get "The alias "Hermione" could not be opened, because the original item cannot be found, with the options "Delete Alias", "Fix Alias", "OK"

OK does nothing

Delete Alias gives an "Are you sure?" message, then if you persist says that the operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for "Hermione"

Fix Alias gives the hard disk map and "choose the item that you want Hermione to open".

I've tried rebooting the drive, rebooting the mac, renaming the drive (which didn't work and gave me another name in the network which I can't remove for the same reasons).

Any suggestions?
