Late night fanfic - A Matter of Respect - Superman Returns drabble

Waiting for a very long hard disk operation to end, thought I'd use the time creatively. Here's a Superman Returns / surprise crossover Drabble. Warning, character death.

A Matter of Respect

"Mister Luthor, I'm impressed by the scope of your vision. But disappointed that you didn't talk with me before you went ahead."
There was no reply.
"It's reckless. It attracts attention nobody needs."
The speaker paused, then continued.
"Above all, it shows... disrespect. A failure to consider my family's interests on the East coast."
Luthor was beyond replying.
"And so it ends here."
The strangler nodded, and finally broke Lex's neck.
"Nicely done," said Michael Corleone. "Make sure that the body is left where it will be found."
"Yes, Godfather."
"Now then..." he turned to his consigliere, "getting back to important business..."
