...I couldn't resist buying a copy of this week's Dr. Who Adventures comic, which has five of the buggers as its giveaway.

They're quite large, considerably bigger than my metal Citadel Daleks which I think were late 80s / early 90s, and made of very bright orange plastic. They look like they'll paint up reasonably well. Interestingly, they are more or less to scale with the police box the comic gave away a few months ago. It'll be interesting to see if there's ever Doctor or Companion figures to go with them.

Oh, and incidentally Jo Grant (on the left in the icon) will be returning in this autumn's Sarah Jane Adventures. Probably wearing rather more, which since she's 61 these days may not be an entirely bad thing.

I already have 10 or so of the old-style Daleks in 25mm scale for role-playing games - these are unfortunately too big to be to scale with them.

Forgot to ask - any joy on the Highlander - Reunion thing?

Right, Highlander! Quite honestly, I've been both traveling and entertaining houseguests, so I've not gotten to see it yet. Have a somewhat empty day or two in a bit, will try it then.

Was my civvie/military response helpful?

Only just this minute seen it. I am now VERY confused, too many options - I think I'll try to come up with a way of avoiding the issue altogether!
