PRAY that the whole iDalek thing was a quirk of the collapsing time line - I want to see real bad-ass Daleks next season...

To quote the campaign's chairbeing, Mr. Davros:

And, as Davros was reminded the hard way at the end of Genesis of the Daleks, Daleks literally do not know the meaning of the word 'pity', so it's rather doubtful they'd be that hot on 'mercy' either.

But it did make for a Crowning Moment of Awesome for River Song, capped with her terse explanation afterwards as to what happened to the Dalek: "It died."
