I'm trying to put a small clue into one of my RPG adventures.
WITHOUT LOOKING
...if someone was to ask you to describe your engagement ring, how detailed and how accurate would the description be.
Later
OK, sounds like it's something I can use as a clue - thanks to everyone who answered.

OK, ring of zircons is more of a vertical oval shape, and there are 10 of them. Never counted them before, I don't think. And the centre stone is bevelled so it has a flat upper surface, not a point. It's not the sort of ring that catches on things.

Date: 2010-07-06 07:29 pm (UTC)Flower shaped ring with 7 diamonds, one in the centre, 0.3 carats per diamond, white gold raised setting, cut away inside so that the wedding ring slots into the space.

Date: 2010-07-06 08:14 pm (UTC)Square, almost black sapphire, 2 small zirconia either side, (we were poor when we got engaged!) then one small sapphire outside again. All flat so that it doesn't catch in things. Gold mount.
Have just looked to check I am right...!
