Today's charity shop bargain...

...was one of these - for a fiver!

Complete, apart from the box, with the manuals and CD, and works on the iBook. I'm not convinced I actually need it, apart from anything else it seems to scratch the paper a little, which is NOT ideal for the old books I generally want to scan, so it'll likely end up on ebay. And hopefully go for a lot more than a fiver!

Design flaw - the plastic has relatively sharp corners and it tracks its position by a wheel, not by an LED as in a mouse.

Ah, I can see how wheel tracking would be a problem... that's a shame. I'm pretty into position feedback mechanisms, though, and it might be hackable.

If you do decide to ebay it, could you please let me know?
