- She's smart but feels alienated from most pureblood wizards, who can do things by instinct that she can only achieve by intense study.

* All the people I ship romantically with this character
- Ron Weasley (vanilla but safe)
- Rupert Giles (they met at the Ministry, and have occasional moments in the non-Euclidean corners of the British library)
- Captain Jack Harkness (naturally)
- Dudley Dursley (once, while drunk, never again)
