This week's Primeval is a Spring Heeled Jack story set in the 1860s, with a raptor on the loose and time travellers from the present involved. So now I'm wondering if Madame Vastra was around that early...

The trouble is that Jenny would just be a kid, unless you invoke time travel in some way, and Madame Vastra is less interesting on her own.
