Consternation needs YOU!

Continuing this year's shiny new tradition of convention contract cock-ups (try saying that three times in a hurry), Consternation, the RPG etc. convention at New Hall Cambridge on August 19th-21st, has buggered up its accommodation deal with the college and face heavy unforeseen charges. There's no danger of cancellation, it would cost more to do that than to keep going, but they need more people to join and if possible book rooms. The more rooms that are booked, the smaller the problem.

They're also looking for donations, sponsorship, etc. and still have fairly cheap Dealer tables available

I've enjoyed every New Hall con I've been to, if that's an incentive, and expect this one to be good fun.

We'd certainly hope so. On past experience, we get plenty of board/card games being played (if nothing else, roleplayers tend also to be general gamers, and do stuff like that to fill in time between RPG sessions - and I know we've got some fairly serious boardgamers coming), we're sorting to have a modest games library available at the front desk, we've got people selling all sorts of games in the trade room, and we're making sure that local board/card games groups and clubs know about us.
