Comment confusion

Anyone know why the "comment" button now opens a dialogue with about three times as many options as there were this morning? Confusing, or what?

And why I keep getting "varnish error" messages?

The problem's gone as mysteriously as it appeared. Presumably some sort of server or browser error, or something of the sort.
