I was just checking when Eureka and Warehouse 13 resume (answer - tomorrow) and noticed that a Eureka episode appearing at the end of August is called "This One Time at Space Camp..." which appears to be a flashback episode since several characters are described as "young something" e.g. a kid playing "Young Jo", another "young Zane" etc.

I was wondering if Alyson Hannigan would be guest-starring, but apparently not. However, there are some interesting names on the cast list:

Felicia Day (Vi in Buffy, Penny in Dr. Horrible)
Nico Cortez (Young Adama in BSG Razor) as Jo's father, probably in flashback since he looks a bit young.
Aaron Douglas (Tyrol in BSG)
Nico McEown (Cody in American Pie Presents: The Book of Love)
Will Wheaton (who?) as Dr Isaac Parrish, has been in a previous episode.
Nicholas Elia (Ben Braeden in Supernatural) as Young Parrish

Looks like it might be interesting and I suspect that people who like "kidfic" about normally adult characters (I don't much) will love it.

Will Wheaton (who?)

Wil Wheaton was Wesley crusher on 'Star Trek: Next Generation'!

From Felicia Day's Twitter stream it's looked like she's going to be in more than one episode.

Yep, both Day and Wheaton will be regular guests in seasons 4.5 and 5. Dr Parrish is set up as a technobabbling genius/mad scientist and Fargo's nemesis.

I've completely lost track. Syfy has been promising us new seasons of those two since March to my knowledge, and every time I've looked it's been a repeat, so I'd given up. Are these actually going to be new episodes now?

I have no idea what SyFy UK is doing, but s3e1 of Warehouse 13 airs in the US on July 11 (which is, or will be, tomorrow!). Season 4 of Eureka continues also tomorrow (as season 4.5, they seem to be doing the odd split season thing).

When either will appear in the UK officially I don't know, and since I torrent W13 (and haven't yet watched any of Eureka) I just know that W13 s3e1 will appear on my computer by the end of this week. Yay, W13! (I've sort of got a crush on Claudia, which I shouldn't because she's too young even if she is a total geekette, and Leena is absolutely gorgeous. The plots are fun as well...)

Incidentally, I just watched "Hot Fuzz" (recommended by Minstrel, I think) -- was that really Our Host as production designer, or are there two of him? (If you haven't seen it, it's gloriously silly -- actually, it is even if you have seen it -- and has a really interesting cast. Including Bill Bailey, twice, with the same character name, in the cast in order of appearance...)

No, it isn't me - though I've at least twice has phone calls which in hindsight must have been intended for him! My Wikipedia entry used to mention this, but when they added a disambiguation page (because there's also an athlete or something called Marcus Rowland) I added his name to make it clear he isn't me. Someone really ought to write the entry, but it probably would just be "Production designer" and a list of films and TV series.

later - edited the disambiguation page and added a link to his IMDB entry

Saw something on SyFy UK yesterday that suggested season 3 of Warehouse 13 starts 4th August. Haven't seen anything about Eureka yet.

Just checked SyFy's web site - both start today!

There's also warehouse 13 web episodes but I can't access them - may be blocked from the UK

Starts today in the US. I said SyFy UK, which today seems to be starting a repeat of season 1 of Warehouse 13.

As SyFy shows both shows in HD, and I can't watch HD downloads on my TV (yet), I wait for the UK showings.

Also NCIS s9 and NCIS:LA s3 start on September 20, and Fringe s4 on September 23 (neatly bracketting my birthday).

No W13 torrent yet (OK, it probably hasn't actually aired yet, it's still afternoon over there)...
