That looks much better. Though I'm a bit doubtful about the texture of the rock. And I'm thinking that the tow cable's need to be a bit more complicated, to prevent the rock carrying on when the ship starts to slow.
Is it meant to be turning toward us? The ship is quite angled toward us, while the rock seems to be almost sideways-on...
Perhaps manipulate the rock so that it tapers slightly more towards the back, like the ship does? Or just has fewer bright regions? Just guessing, as I'm not quite sure what is giving me the impression the rock is "too near and too sideways". Ah! It could be "feature density" (is that a correct/recognised term?). The patterning on the rock doesn't vary noticably in scale/size from front to back, but I think to match the perspective on the ship the features should get smaller towards the rear. So again, that can be done by just trapezoid-morphing the rock image to be slightly narrower at the back than the front.
Where is the light source ("red sun") meant to be? The ship looks like it's lit from behind/right (i.e., from behind and to the left of the camera). You may need to play with variations in brightness on the rock image to make it match up.
