I want to number the pages starting at page 1, which will actually be page 3 of the document - the real page 1 is the title page and 2 is the table of contents. The help (which is as usual crap) talks about something called a Section Break, but that doesn't seem to do much. Anyone know how to get this to work?

I've got Word for the Mac, not the PC, but it probably works something like this:

Once you've put in a section break, you go to the top of the page you want the page numbering to start on and select Insert/Page Numbers. In the dialog box that pops up, you should have the option to select Format... That button opens up another dialog box, which lets you choose between continuing the numbering from the previous section, or starting at a new number of your choice (it doesn't have to be 1, but it can be).

I hope this helps.
